I think it’s horrible there is a huge service charge for Toyota to charge their customers for updating software for a product the customer wants to keep attached to their vehicle when they already half to pay an annual fee to keep the product! I pay annually $80.00 for remote start app, but in order to keep it, Toyota wants to charge $180.00 to update the program. I think that’s bad business.

I delivered my car on the day of service and when my advisor went home sick (not his fault), there was a complete breakdown in the service department. Nobody contacted me about my vehicle. I called late in the day, spent 20 min on hold, and then I was told that I would be contacted but I wasn’t. The next morning, I had to call Toyota again for a status update and it took another several minutes on hold before I was told that somebody would contact me later. I don’t have a problem with any worker or the service I received, but clearly there’s an opportunity for process improvement when it comes to assignment handoff in the event that an advisor is forced to leave unexpectedly.

Zach was wonderful. He explained everything that was going to be done before he took the car, called me several times to update me on what the mechanics had found when inspecting the vehicle, and went over all of the charges completely when I picked my car up. My father was with me today and he was very pleased with Zach’s service too. I would absolutely recommend calling the dealership and reaching out to Zach to anyone who needs to get their car serviced.
