Maintenance packages purchased with vehicles are deceptive. 3% credit card charge needs to be stated upfront, for example in one of the many texts and emails I got about this appointment. Superfluous maintenance items need to be separated from strictly necessary ones.

I was told my car would take a couple of hours. I brought it in at 10 and called at 1. No one called me back. I called at 1:30. No one called me back. I called at 2 and talked to the operators and said no one would call me back. They said they would have someone call me. I got a text from Hong Nong saying he would let me know when my car would be ready. I immediately replied and asked when he thought that would be and when the service department closes. He didn’t respond. I called at 5:30 and the service department was closed. Because you kept my car overnight without permission, I didn’t have a car that could fit my whole family for pickup. I came early the next morning and called to say I was coming and asked to have the car ready because I had an appointment. When I arrived, my car wasn’t ready. I talked to the manager and told her about my experience and she said she would figure out some way of making it right. I have not heard from her. Terrible experience all around.

The expectation was that all stickers would be removed during the detailing service. None were, which was disappointing.
Very expensive. Charged more than double of what would cost outside for the same task.
So grateful for the fantastic customer service and lovely staff, especially John Jeffries. Thank you for making my visits always very easy and the thorough work to keep my car running to my satisfaction.

I feel like I overpaid for the service I received. I could have had it done for much less elsewhere. Not to mention the 3%surcharge to use a credit card for payment. I’ve been servicing 2 cars at Oakland Honda since 2009 while working for Kaiser. Now that I’m retired and on a fixed income I will seek out less expensive options for my auto maintenance. Still is the end of our relationship and won’t be coming back.

I was very satisfied with Matthew's service.
What I was not satisfied with was that my messages were not returned 2 days in a row and the third day I asked for the service manager and was finally able to get a quote and schedule a service appointment.
