Appointment at 9am for a recall that apparently doesn’t apply to my car, I’ve been getting calls and mail for like 6 months about this recall just for my car to not even be a part of the recall. I asked the service advisor if they were free to check on my AC since I already made the trip down there. He said yes and it would be a few hours. I didn’t get an update until I checked in with him again at 2pm. He said it would be another 1-1.5 hours. He offered a ride but I live far so I decided to wait. It wasn’t until 5:13pm when another worker approached me because the shop closed at 5pm. I was in the waiting room from 10:30am-5:15pm because “a few hours” turned into a whole work day. I don’t live close by, but I come into honda oakland because I used to live here and this is the only place i’ve gotten service done on my car. Then I had to pay $170 for a part with the AC even though the main issues were covered under my warranty. Lack of communication sucked. Paying that much last minute also wasn’t great. If I knew at 9am that it would take a whole day I wouldn’t have waited. I had a **** experience, but don’t call or contact me unless you can offer me a refund. Thanks.
John Jeffries was very helpful and nice! Our car took a little longer than expected but he made sure to keep checking on us and let us know it will be done soon! Amazing customer service! 5 stars all around. Thanks John!

Taz was helpful and greeted me at the time I dropped off my car. Everything was timely and I was informed of the completed status- time in and out was within 2 hours. I am satisfied with the review of inspection findings at the end. Taz provided friendly service.

Some **** tech tried to upsell my wife from $90 to $3500 with a cleaning package. Will never be coming back. Extremely untrustworthy. Saw the work order and the person who ordered it should be ashamed of themselves. Honestly shocked anyone you be so underhanded and unscrupulous. Completely unacceptable and untrustworthy. Take your vehicle elsewhere. They OBLY care about trying to rip off those who don’t know better. Shameless predators.
Taz was great. The news I got wasn't. 5K to fix AC that should have been fixed in earlier service. Not her fault. She was professional, knowledgeable and efficient.

Victor has always been my go-to service advisor at Honda Oakland. I have never once doubted him or received anything less than phenomenal service.
