The service was excellent. He has always known how to provide me with his points of view and recommendations. I experienced no delays or inconveniences with the service.
Began work before authorized. Tech then was placed in position of reinstalling the old part. The result being my car is now much worse than when I brought it in.
John was very professional and helped me get the needed maintenance services for the best price. He was not too pushy and I felt like I could really trust him. Omar very helpful! Service manager wasn’t good! I finally got close to what wanted; it wasted 1/2 hour of time! I have to go to the dealership to see sale person who sold me the car. He got someone to talk to the service manager on my behalf! I bought first CRV in Oakland dealership on 12/31/2004 and the 2nd CRV on 4/21/2025. I went to the Oakland Honda service department for the complimentary oil change approximately 2 months ago. I was told it was too early; I was refused service at that time! When car computer indicated maintenance due soon. I took car in today read 4971 miles in the vehicle.The service manager told Omar; I have to pay for service because is past the 1 year period! I was very disappointed; Omar went to service manger again on my behalf; Omar was told that I have to call Honda. I thought; service manager doesn’t have any common sense; she willing to loose a Royal customer for $80 late complimentary oil change! We own a small business in Berkeley, CA. We always told our customers and workers that the customers are our boss! The reason is without them; we wouldn’t have the business!
My car took longer than expected and I didn’t receive any updates. I had to call several times, to be put on hold, only to not receive updates. I was also promised that my electric car would be fully charged after they used it for multiple road tests and it was returned to me with 15% battery which it’s not supposed to go below 30%. This was a very stressful experience.
