I went in for a routine oil change. The car was returned to me with the engine covered in oil as well as the exhaust. It is incredibly dangerous and irresponsible to have returned the car to me as such. I had to return the car to get the engine cleaned after it began smoking. I was told it was just a minor oil spill. The smoke was coming in through the air vents even after 30 minutes of driving. When I dropped off the car to get the engine cleaned it took all day. I tried to reach Tommy multiple times throughout the day and did not get ahold of him until 20 minutes before closing. I had to lose an entire day of work over the irresponsible way my car was taken care of. As of today, a day post the supposed cleaning of the engine the car is still smelling of burnt oil. I have never experienced anything like this at a routine oil change. No amends were made about the incident either. I was only told that they spoke to the technician. I am appalled at the lack of accountability and negligence that occurred at my very first encounter at the Honda of Oakland. I hope that there were no severe damages done to my vehicle give that I have been given little communication about where the oil was spilt. I will not be retuning to the Honda of Oakland.
