Tommy always takes care of my vehicle when I get my 2019 Honda EX-L serviced at Honda of Oakland. Everyone is super nice to me and my autistic son. After I got my new battery this time. The ladies in the area where you pay were laughing at my son's jokes making him so happy and always wanting to return to Honda of Oakland when it is time for an oil change. Thank you Tommy and all staff including the wonderful shuttle drivers

After making an appointment over the phone and being told I could wait for an oil change, I proceeded to wait seven (7) days to have it performed. I called several times, left messages and was assured by a service department t am member that someone would get back to me (twice), I finally showed up unannounced and they had completely overlooked my vehicle for an entire week. I feel they had more than enough time and notice to sort it out, and that I was more than patient, but it was still a fiasco.
I had a hard time contacting my advisor and did not get communication regarding the status of my car.
I’ve used your dealership for service since I bought the car from you in 2019. I came in for an A01 service and your service advisor Chris presented me with a $1200 list of maintenance items over and above with the factory A01 service calls for. I declined all but the A01 service. A few hours later I got a text from you with a link to my maintenance records, showing a high priority item, dirty transmission fluid. Recommending a $300 transmission fluid change. My problem is I don’t trust you. This is a car that has 26,000 miles in five years. I’m going to have an independent shop, inspect the transmission fluid and pull a sample for me to send off for fluid analysis.
If the analysis comes out clean, I’ll be sending a copy of this to Honda USA
The advisor Vincent was cool and helpful. But Honda charged a credit surcharge, even though I used my debit card. They didn't even give me an option to choose debit or credit.

After three days with my car in the shop due to a defective Honda part that made my air conditioner fail, I was never offered a pick up to get my car. I had to call four times to request a pick up, and was never able to get ahold of Hong Nong. I ended up hitching a ride with my daughter who didn’t have time to help me. I never got a call back or an apology. Also, a car wash would have been a nice gesture given the fact that Honda was responsible for me not having my car for three days.
Chris was. Very helpful. He made certain he explained the service I needed for my car and checked in on me until my son came to pick me up.
He kept me appraised of what was happening with my car and called/texted me when my car was ready.

Darius was friendly and kind. However, he told me I needed serviced it when I came home and looked it up yesterday. It’s not due for tens of thousands of miles. I also was overcharged my oil change was way more expensive than it should’ve been I told Darius when I first met with him that I wanted an itemized receipt and I did not get one so he wrote amounts on a Post-it for me which isn’t helpful at all. And one of the services that was done it’s not even on my receipt at all, so there seems to be no record of it. I called the manager and I did not hear back.

The service was free but I was asked to pay taxes on the work. This is the first time ever I had to pay taxes on a complimentary service. I asked the cashier and was advised to follow up with the dealership.
