After today’s transaction with Hong — I no longer trust your company. And when I replace my car next year I will not buy a Honda.
Your employees tried to scare and bully me into buying new tires, even though I replaced my tires at your location two years ago. They are rated to last until 45,000 miles. I talked to the manager about this, Christina, who recommended I go through an authorized dealer to get a prorated refund on my apparently faulty tires.
This is a problem for me. Why are you selling low quality tires? Or why are your employees trying to scare me (a low paid teacher and public servant) into buying tires a year early?!
Also, no one went through the form with me before check out. So I did not discover I needed the belts and hoses replaced immediately (according to the form). I had to call Honda Oakland three times in a row to get through to ask if this is a real problem. I spoke to Christina again and she said it should be fine until next service.
Your service employees need serious training. They need equity training so they don’t talk to female customers as if we are stupid and can be swindled.
Your practices at Honda Oakland seem unethical at best and is likely illegal consumers practices. Honda should contact me because I am considering legal action.

Our vehicle is still experiencing the same problem and we have made another appointment for Monday 11.27.
The only thing I would say is when I was initially quoted the service advisor gave me the wrong information and I could have decided to not get my car fixed there because it was $400 difference in the quote. But when I called the next day to pick it up, another service advisor clarified and said that it was not going to cost what I was initially quoted

Great experience. First time at Honda of Oakland, would happily return. Carlos did a great job communicating with me and helping me with a scheduling issue. Really appreciate the proactive calls when we discovered the repair would take a second day. This allowed me to save a work trip and still get home for Thanksgiving.
Monday I showed up for oil change at 11am and didn’t leave until 4:30pm. I didn’t even know there was a service for shuttle. So myself and my daughter sit there all day long. I was told to come back the next morning at 9 AM to replace my LED light. I showed up at 8:40am and didn’t leave the dealership until 5:30pm. Ridiculous
Carlos was extremely rude and threatened me repeatedly (you won’t get your car until I get paid) for example even after the insurance company had agreed to pay. It was stressful dealing with him
