Vehicle was 75 minutes late with no communication from Hong. I had to walk over to his desk to check with him. Hong also displayed impatience in the tone of his voice when answering my questions about the invoice. Hong did not go over the multipoint inspection or cover the recommendations with me. This experience was disappointing. Reflecting upon the experience after the switch to Cardinale: I’ve been in 2-3 times and each time I’ve waited longer and paid more for less value. While I was waiting, I searched Berkeley Honda and noticed that right on their main service page they were offering the LOF for ten dollars less. After 10 years of taking this car to Honda of Oakland, I think it’s time to give Berkeley Honda a try.

Lack of communication about status of my car and completion of service. The link for status was not working. And Tommy was never available.
My car broke down multiple times, sometimes the same day i picked up my car from service. Refused to pay for lyft services which they said they would do the second time my car overheated and broke down. I will no longer go here for mg routine maintenance

Very Bad service service.because my appointment was 11:30am and my service ended until 2:30pm.A person arrived later and they didn't delay it even 15 minutes.And I told the man that I had to work at 2:00 pm until San francisco.Im say just saying that the service is very bad.

I would have preferred that I had been informed of the probable schedule for the work on my car in time to pick up my car and have use of it that evening. I recall that the shuttle service was finished for the day by the time I was informed what was going on regarding the schedule.
I could have called Lyft .
I am not satisfied, i have to chase to find out status and problem. Don’t receive calll back after i left messages

As far as the appraisal goes, I am not really sure that I am interested in changing vehicles right now. But I have considered it, because I will ultimately move to Colorado, and taking a plug-in electric hybrid might be problematic as far as driving there. One thing I have been meaning to ask is whether you have any kind of reciprocal arrangements with Honda dealers in other areas – for example, could I trade it in here, and use the credit in Denver somewhere? I know the dealerships are independent, so that might not be feasible. Thanks!

I feel like I’m always bringing my car in for an oil change or tire rotation and then I leave after spending 500$ because there’s 19 other things being done that don’t need to be I just feel like you can never walk out spending less than 400$

The Advisors Tommy Jung & Carlos dismissed my calls. No one followed up to inform me about the status of my vehicle. Tommy left me stranded at my work place. At 5:50 p.m no status regarding my vehicle and the service department is scheduled to close at 6:00 p.m. Total disregard of my time and safety.
I recently purchased the 90K package (timing belt, water pump etc) that was close to $4K. I believed I addressed all major service repairs at that time.
The Honda Oakland Service Advisors failed me by not disclosing information regarding all repairs needed for my vehicle.
I can provide additional incidents if needed. No women, person should have the experience I‘ve received at a certified service department.
