Because I was a walk-in with an emergency flat tire, I was last priority for everything-shuttle and service. This would have been okay if I was expecting a 6 hr wait. But I was told 3 hrs, so it was upsetting to miss a whole day of work. I acknowledge that the flat fix turned into 4 new tires, but that happened in the beginning. I am also disappointed that I was never given a key for the locking wheel lug when you put them on my car years ago. Thank goodness I never had a flat in the middle of nowhere! And because you don’t keep records more than 6 years, you can’t tell me when they were installed.

Taz went above and beyond and is the best adviser I have had in 7 or 8 years since I started going to Honda of Oakland. It was just a complex thing and I needed my car that day and she made it all work after 6 pm and ensured I was happy. Thank you Taz!

Tommy was very polite & professional. I am tired of all these surveys, other than asking about the individual who initiated the service and got your car back to you. Add a contact email about positive and negative comments.

I hope the payment method can be more flexible. It should include personal checks. I will have to carry a lot of cash with me when I decided to have work done at Honda dealer since I don’t use a debit card.

I made an appointment for 1130 for an oil change and didnt get out until 305pm. Initial intake was great. Omar and another gentleman greeted me and got me started. This and the fact that there were so many windows open gave me the false impression that it would be similar to my last experience which had to be no more than 2 hours tops. I just did leave the premises to handle some business but I just didnt plan or think an oil service and multiple point inspection with an appojtment should take so long. It seems as if you were shortstaffed with mechanics or something as I sae my hood open for a long period of time after I returned and got tired pf waiting in the Custormer service area. Lastly in my previous experiences with you all anytime I get a multi point inspection I get a copy of the actual checklist...I didnt get that this time.

I dropped my car off in the afternoon for routine services that totaled about $3,000. At quarter to 6 I was texted an inspection report that called for immediate repairs for thousands of additional dollars. I replied by text, as instructed, then called a few minutes later and had to leave a message. No one contacted me. The next morning I started calling at 7:15, knowing that Hong was not working that day. Tommy got back to me at 8. After he looked over my paperwork, he could see there was some kind of mistake, but it still looked like I needed an additional $1,800 repair. In the afternoon, Tommy contacted me and said the repair wasn't needed after all. The whole issue was created by a technician uploading inspection results for a different vehicle into my file. I was glad not to need the extra repair but was left angry about the stress this mistake had put me through. It should be made clear how late and how early a service rep can actually be reached. I would also like to praise Tommy and the women answering the phones for their courteous professionalism in helping me handle the problems that I now know were created by a Honda tech.
