We were initially told that completion would be around 2pm by the advisor. We were not informed until I called past 3 pm that the service would not be complete possibly by 4pm. I think there should be some form of communication of the delay. I requested to be notified on my phone but the notification when the service was complete came to my wife’s phone.

Tommy told me it would be a one-day job and it ended up taking two full days. He didn’t communicate with me at all. I texted him twice and called. No response and I ended up calling the service line about 4 times before he finally responded in the afternoon of day two. I was unnecessarily frustrated by his lack of communication.

John was the best employee I have ever come across at the Honda Service Department in Oakland and Hayward locations. He was friendly and informative, he gave me updates when my car would be ready, and very easy to talk to. A very good well rounded employee with knowledge of cars, of Honda products, and friendly sales. Please give him a huge raise. I have been coming to Oakland to service my car since I bought it new in 2015 and my very first Honda was bought here in 1997. And through my years of experience with this company, John really is the best service employee I have ever ment. It is very hard as a female to find a person working in car maintenance to be so knowledgeable and friendly.
