Unfortunately I had a negative experience during my last service this week. I usually get along with Andrew, but this time I was not impressed by his professionalism. I made an appointment to have a daytime driver light replaced as I’ve done in the past (exactly a year ago). My appointment was set at 11:30. I went inside and said I just need the light replaced and I was dropping off my car and would be back. He said great and I left. On my way back to Acura I missed his call at 12:26 stating how much the light cost to replace. I arrived at Acura ten minutes after the message he left. He asked me if I got his voicemail and I said I couldn’t answer because I was driving. He then began to show me recommendations on my car that were needed. I said I didn’t have time for that and I just wanted the light replaced. His tone started to change and he said they will get it done. I asked why wasn’t this already done. He kind of snapped at me in response and said he can’t approve repairs without asking me. I said the whole point of my 11:30 appointment was only to get my light replaced and nothing else. He said again to me he can’t approve services without my permission. I was confused at this point because when I get an oil change it is expected to be done and I am not asked for my approval because that is why I made the appointment in the first place. I asked him how long it would be and he said 15-20 minutes. I went back to the waiting room until another advisor checked me out. He never apologized. My car was there from 11:30- close to 1:00 for a 20 minute service. I realize the department tried to make more money for other services that were recommended. I wouldn’t have minded the recommendations if the original purpose of my appointment had been completed. I don’t need a call. I am going to use another service company to work on my car for future services. I debated whether to even fill out this question/comment survey, but I think someone needs to know what happened. I absolutely did not appreciate the lack of professionalism, especially being a customer for almost 7 years. I wish Andrew the best and hope he realizes that a lack of tactful communication sends people to look elsewhere, and there are plenty of automotive shops to choose from. Other than this given situation, I have been happy with the service department over the years. Thank you

I had received multiple calls from Joey that I had one remaining service from when I purchased my vehicle from you. When I arrived I was told immediately that I didn't have any remaining and would pay full price. I asked if there was even a discount for your mistake and was told no. I also felt ridiculed when he asked why you would have charged me last time if there were any remaining (I thought maybe it had been an oversight). I felt very undervalued and that I had been lied to. I would have understood and had my service completed if I felt like they actually care about me as a customer, however that was not the case. This isn't about money, it's about service and I will look elsewhere when I replace my vehicle this summer.
