Pedro was great! I appreciated his honestly and professionalism. I had just had a bad experience with another older tech/associate (didn’t get his name) the day before. I ended up leaving because I felt so uneasy. I came back the next day and Pedro was excellent. Night and day comparison. Thank you Pedro and the rest of the South Coast Toyota team that always serves exceptional service!

I was very disappointed with the service I received from a service advisor Ana Ochoa at South Coast Toyota. During my recent visit, I encountered behavior that was both unprofessional and discourteous.
I had called ahead for a service quote and was given a specific amount over the phone. However, upon my arrival, Ana Ochoa was extremely defensive and reluctant to honor the quoted price. Her demeanor was not only snappy but also condescending, rolling her eyes and giving a ton of attitude saying “are you going to want the service or what?” making me feel belittled and uncomfortable.
After agreeing to honor original quoted amount, she began insisting I sign paper, I told Ana I wouldn’t sign any papers until the amount on the paper was changed. She then aggressively snatched the paper from the desk and scribbled the her original amount for the phone quoted amount. Her aggressive handling of paperwork, aggressive scribbling, then slamming a pen on the desk for me to sign, was unnecessarily intimidating. This kind of behavior is not what I expected from a professional establishment like South Coast Toyota.
I am a loyal customer and have always appreciated the service at your dealership, but this experience has left me very disappointed. I hope my feedback will be taken seriously and that steps will be taken to ensure no other customer has to undergo a similar experience.

There was a significant delay. I was present at the dealership for 5 hours. When I asked 3.5 hours in, they still had not completed any repairs on the vehicle. It would be nice to keep the customer more updated throughout the process.
Your service reps for payment at end of services had me waiting for almost an hour after I was texted d called advising me that my car was ready. They stated they didn’t receive my paperwork. It took me to get up and inquire with different men in black coats to find out what’s going on. Your service reps came up with the excuse that the advisor usually calls out the persons name and also that they are training. They decided to provide excuses rather than an apology. They had stacks of files they could have looked through rather than asking me to wait so they can continue their personal conversation. I’ve never been through such a hassle in all the years I’ve been with this company. I’m considering going elsewhere. Very upsetting and a waste of my time. Don’t text and call if my car is not ready, although it was ready and I see my car sitting in wait.
