Brought my 4Runner in for a routine oil change/tire rotation. Appointment time was 10:30. I arrived and was checked in by 10:20. After multipoint inspection was completed I opted (11:06) to have tires balanced per the recommendation of service department. It was then another hour and a half before I received the message that my car was complete. My service advisor was on the phone, so I spoke with one of the ladies at the service department front desk. She told me that my car was complete and to wait for him to get off the phone. Myself and another young lady waited patiently for 15 minutes while he was on the phone. They then let us know that we could check out with someone else. I went to another advisor and he apologized for wait. He then informed me that they had multiple vehicles in the shop due to water in the gasoline from a gas station in Carlyss. He made the comment that his guys were covered in gas and I could smell it in the service area. I didn’t think anything of it when I got back to my car because I just thought that it was in my nose. However, when my husband got home, he got in my car and could immediately smell it! It was on my on my steering wheel and seat. He called service department and asked to speak with a service manager. He explained to the girl that answered the phone what happened he was put on hold and she came back with the solution of roll windows down and air out the car. We are concerned about the gasoline on the steering wheel and seats. He was then given a number to call, but there was no answer. We have since purchase products to clean the interior of the vehicle. This is the third vehicle that I have purchased from Lake Charles Toyota. Each time that it is brought in, it is multiple hours of waiting for simple oil change or inspections.
Gavin was excellent and professional
I was scheduled for a routine oil change and made them aware that we were hearing a clicking noise when we turned left and right possibly a CV joint. I was basically told that I was charged $169 for them to drive my car in the parking lot and that I needed new tires. I was already aware that I needed new tires and had scheduled services for them to be replaced. When I questioned it, I was still charged $100+ after I guess a slight discount. I will never bring my car back, not even for an oil change. I felt very taken advantage of.
Great customer service and quick!
2hours was an extensive WAIT to take a picture of mirror and requisition part that you you knew beforehand was not in stock. ???
Had to bring it back today because the plug was not tight and leaking oil. I am now satisfied with my service.
The wait was over 8 hours.
I got a typical review of issues and one was tire balance. It said it needed immediate attention but then said the tires typically need it every 2 years. The tires are barely 9 months and I have had NO issues…so I said no. Later that day I got on interstate and it felt like a tire was about to fall off. I don’t even trust it to drive back to lake Charles to have it fixed. I’ll have to find a place in Sulphur to bring it. Here’s my issue, first….why all the sudden is it such a big problem? I get tires rotated every time I go in and have never had an issue like this. Second - if it was so severe that it was determined I needed immediate correction why didn’t someone call to explain this to me? Do you understand how I would not think it was necessary for 9 month old tires? Did a weight fall off and that’s how they knew? I’ve come here since I’ve purchased my car and never had an issue. Very disappointed.
Barton is very attentive. He does a great job!
I had questions about the maintenance on my car on the before the appointment, and Angela had those answers for me when the maintenance was completed. I’m always grateful for the quality service experience.
Service is always outstanding at Lake Charles Toyota
Great service and communication!!!
They changed the headlight and now the blinker is out
I purchased replacement tires for my vehicle and came in to get them rotated and evidently when the tires were put on, they stripped one of the bolts so when they went to rotate them, a bolt broke and I was charged to replace it, which was very disappointing. the original price to replace the bolt was $200 and I got charging $65. What’s the purpose of only bringing my vehicle to the dealership when your service is not honored.
Brandt is consistently helpful, friendly & efficient.
