My service went GREAT ????
We dropped our teenage daughter’s car off to have a key fob made at an 8:30 am appointment. Hours went by and when we called to check we were told it was being worked on. Eventually my husband went back to wait on the car. Time kept passing and they eventually told him that when they were testing the phyiscal part of the key (switchblade type) in the door that it got stuck. They had to remove the whole lock cylinder. They didn’t have a new one in stock to replace it with and needed to order one. After paying over $400 when he went back to the car to leave, the fob wasn’t even programmed. He had to go back inside and wait again for them to program it.
We have not heard anything back yet about the replacement cylinder coming in. My husband texted Brandt Nunez today (he had given him his number) and got no response. Tonight my daughter just called from dance saying the fob part came loose from the physical part of the key and is hanging down. We haven’t even had it for a week. This was over $400. My husband will be calling tomorrow and going straight to the service manager. So now we have the inconvenience of bringing the car in again on another day to fix something that was broken at no fault of our own. And now it seems the fob is hanging from the physical key at less than a week old.
My husband bought a brand new Tundra a couple years ago and LC Toyota is the only place we have ever had it serviced. We have never had an issue until bringing our teenage daughter’s car in for this key fob. Very disappointed with this experience.

Mr Brandt Nunez was great but the time frame was not. I understand the service department was short handed but it still should not have taken 4.5 hours to replace 3 tires and do a front end alignment in my opinion. Toyota of lake Charles has always been amazing in the service, professionalism, and friendliness of the staff so no complaints there. My business will always be with y’all. I’m not mad about yesterday I just wasn’t thrilled about the long wait.
Andrea Chiasson took excellent care of us. We showed up without an appointment, and instead of turning us away, she made sure we received the service we needed. She is a definite asset to your company.
