Our vehicle needed a break service and we decided to take in to a Toyota service center over all the local cheaper mechanic shops because we wanted to make sure everything was done correctly and for our peace of mind even though Toyota is much more expensive. My partner drove the vehicle home and called me to let me know that breaking didn’t feel right and unsafe. I drove the car myself and the brakes feel mushy and you have to press down on the break almost all the way for any response. I am really disappointed that the vehicle made it off the lot in this condition. Extremely unsafe especially in these weather conditions.
I waited in my car for 10 minutes, because a service tech normally comes out to check me in. I went inside and waited for a service person to finish with another customer before he could help me. There clearly aren’t enough service people to cover the customer volume. Once I was checked in, everything went great.
