My car was taken through the car wash at the dealership, and the passenger side mirror was completely broken. The mirror had some damage, but it was intact and still worked. When I brought the car back up the next day to show them the damage, I was spoken to in an incredibly condescending tone, and was told I had the cause of the damage “all figured out” I’m very disappointed and upset about the damage, as now my side mirror is basically useless.

I recently had my shifter linkage repaired. Upon inspection of the shifter cables at top of transmission one of two cables has the protective aluminum sleeve not adjusted correctly and is pulled back 3-4 inches back exposing the cable to high heat as it sits right above the down pipe of the exhaust. The sleeve is scrunched up all in one area instead of being spread out across the cable.My second concern is the shifter itself. The repair has been completed however in neutral the shifter springs back more on the right side than it does on the left side. This has never been like this until part failure had occurred prompting the service. Shifting feels smooth but going into neutral doesn’t feel right. Entering the car at the dealership oil smudges found on interior driver door panel, arm rest and exterior of the car. Old plastic parts found in seat with metal band clamp found in the passenger seat.. I’m glad the car has been repaired just not sure how to feel about the finalized service. I had been told and suggested to prevent additional down time that parts recommended by a certified 10 year tech would have it right. I’m not the type of person to complain tho I wasn’t excited either when I had to explain to the wife why I had been looking at the car coming back from the dealer.

I believe that the question you pose put all the blame on the employee. It’s not a fair question because your employee has to in good faith, execute, whatever vision you have with regard to how you treat clients. Having said this, your employee was great and then an awesome job making sure that I was satisfied with the outcome. On the other side, your business practices and the amount you charge people for routine work is completely ludicrous. I can’t get over how a simple job has a 350% markup from what it would cost to get it done and any other business. Not only this but the failure to properly diagnose my vehicle the first two times I brought the vehicle to you guys just further goes to show that your employees are trained to slowly go through the list of every possible outcome before finally rectifying the issue that the person brought the vehicle in for originally. It’s a very shady business practice tonight rectify a consumers concerns immediately and instead bleed them shortly over the span of a few months. The previous owners of this Volkswagen dealership had a very similar practice which ultimately led me to take my business elsewhere when I purchased a vehicle originally. It’s a shame that your employees have to be the face of your business.
