Your service guy Carlos sold my college student son the 50k service costing $409
He was there ONLY for an oil change and tire rotation and to get the check engine light checked out. That should be covered under the two year warranty that came with this TDI. So after an argumentative conversation on both sides & after canceling the unauthorized service. (I didn’t authorize) he calls me back to tell me there was some damage caused by a rodent & it’s not covered under warranty. And was charging me $400 to fix it. This car gets used every single day and is living in a city environment highly unlikely rodents caused this. If it did it was when the car was sitting over a year waiting with VW for the TDI emissions repair. I do plan to investigate this with VW and possibly another authorized dealer.
He was very courteous and explained the process of having our vehicle serviced. I explained a concern we had from a previous service and he assured us that we were in good hands ?? We were very pleased with his customer service.

John is a true professional, very honest in his assessment of my VW’s condition and if I needed an induction service. I appreciate that he said he would have the tech pull a plug to check the carbon buildup instead of just suggesting that it be done like other dealers do.

Carlos was fine. He was nice and tried to be helpful. But I checked in at 10:25am for my 11:30 oil change (my own choice so as to not risk being late.) It took until 1:29 pm to get my car back. The shop found some issues. I was waiting and waiting for them to get me prices. Meanwhile I got prices myself on my cell phone by calling mechanics and shops around Hillsborough County. I finally told Carlos to tell them to button it up, I'll fix it myself. Otherwise I wouldn't have got it out when I did. On the way home, I got the parts I needed, the tires I needed, and still got home by 4:49pm, all fixed-no thanks to you. What has happened to you!
Carlos is always very helpful and responsive. I especially love the videos from the technician showing me what he was seeing- very cool
