The backup camera they replaced still doesn’t work correctly, it does this intermittently in and out like I stated in the original drop off of vehicle. It will work for a day then not at all for a week, sometimes it works for a couple days then goes out again. I will call my people and see how they want to proceed. Steve did a good job it’s kind of out of his hands he didn’t diagnose the issue.

My experience at Capital City Ford was extremely frustrating and fell well below expectations due to poor communication and repeated operational issues. Throughout the process, there was a significant lack of communication from Nygel, requiring me to frequently follow up just to receive basic updates. I was initially told by the scheduler that the repairs would take no more than one day, yet the vehicle ultimately remained at the dealership for nearly two weeks. During that time, a technician locked my keys inside a toolbox, which alone delayed repairs by four days. I was also told my tire was unrepairable due to multiple nails, but after requesting photo documentation, it took four days to receive an image that showed a single metal shard rather than multiple nails. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I was informed that no one could locate the paperwork for my car and that the keys were missing again, and I was asked to return on another day. Which is unacceptable. In total, the vehicle was held for almost two weeks for what amounted to a tire replacement and a new running board motor. I have been actively looking for a reliable local Ford dealership to handle my service needs long-term, but based on this experience, I’m unlikely to return to Capital City Ford unless a manager is willing to address and make this situation right.
