I put my comments in a text message with suggestions for being a more successful customer service agent: This text says appointment time, not check-in time as the receptionist repeatedly told me. She wanted to know if I wanted to reschedule after she told me it could take 3 hours!!! Why am I making an appointment if you can't do the work at that time? I'd like the name of the manager and a call from him/her. This is no way to treat customers who may be in the market for a car someday. When I saw at 11:40 that my car was inside, I asked the technician how long it would take and before he could answer me, Shayna was confronting me telling me not to speak to her technician. I went back to the office and explained that there must be a better way for us to communicate that maybe she could have told me that she would get me in as soon as she could and didn't know how long it would take. She continued to argue her point of view which is never the right way to handle a customer. An apology for the misunderstanding would have gone a long way. I know I've worked in customer service and apologized to many people even when I knew I was right.

Service is good but the wait is long for just an oil change and fair filter change, about 2 and a half hour wait.

I had a 10am appointment for a recall, was told the approx finish time 2:30pm. I live out of town so I planned to wait on-site for it. I checked on it around 2:45pm only to find out my car was only being worked on just then (after inquiring) and would roughly take 1-1 1/2 hrs. I’m not sure if this is going to amount to any improvements, I hope someone really makes the attempt. Please be considerate of your customers, regardless of the kind of job. If you are short staffed, please train your managers on having a broader perspective (empathy for customers) and time management - so they are able to see customer’s perspective and can plan and perform in a more efficient way for their customers. I had a 10am appointment that took 1 1/2 hours but had to wait nearly the whole day for my car to be worked on.

I'd love to buy a new Subaru. I'm not getting rid of this one just looking to buy a new one. We love the Outback Forester or Crosstrek.. almost any color. If you guys have anything on that lot new or used have someone give me a call. Thank you. The ladies in service were amazing and wonderful thank you.

Shayna and Sherry are always so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Shayna helped solve a problem when I was at Volcano for the weekend and my oil was low and recommended an appointment in Hilo to check and top it off to keep my diagnostic plan on track. It it meant so much for her to make it happen as well as Cliff's help in many problems with my Hyundai...I'm so glad you are adequately staffed now in the front to relieve the workload and stress for your wonderful team...Mahalo for always taking good care of me and my vehicle!!
