On 05/16/26 I brought my 2024 RAV4 (Invoice #1051972) for the 35K service. Immediately after, my LTA and Pre-Collision System showed malfunction warnings. When I reported it, the lights temporarily cleared on restart so the dealer dismissed me. The lights came back immediately while driving so I returned on my own. I was told it would take many hours for a full diagnostic. I was called to pick up the car only 2 hours later. The warning lights were cleared but the systems are still completely non-functional — Lane Center Assist, Lane Departure Alert, and Pre-Collision Brake are all inoperable. I have filed a complaint with Toyota Corporate (Reference #****-****-xxxx26). I expect a proper repair Thursday when I return from my trip.

Service was what I was expecting: thorough, complete and all about the truck. Everything went well, facility was comfortable and clean, staff friendly and communicative. Well explained.
Only thing I would offer is that it took 1 hour and 50 minutes vice the advertised time of 1 - 1 half hour.
Fix the long way before you have to get into the service department, especially when you have appointment.

Shuttle Service should be switched to uber/lyft for customers. Been to other toyota locations and they use uber/lyft. I waited over 1 hour after I was notified that my car was ready for picked up. Shuttle service took a really long time.

John B is amazing every single time. When I arrived, John B was at lunch so I was assigned another service rep for check in. I waited in my vehicle for 18 minutes before being checked in. Every person who pulled up after me was checked in before me because they were assigned a different service rep. I was the only person sitting in my vehicle. I thought they forgot about me so I asked someone passing by. He checked in with my service rep and said that he was helping another customer. The service rep finished helping that customer, walked outside and began inspecting under the hood of a truck (no customer waiting) parked next to me. He did this for several minutes and then decided to wait on me. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had at Toyota Mission Valley. The person who checked me in has no business working in customer service.
He was friendly and nice except he didn’t applied 15 percent discount from Costco, saying use it next time I need a few other things cost more???
