It usually takes no more than 1 hr to do an oil change. After an hour and a half. I went to my service rep who was outside in another car. I went to an older person who was the only other person working. He found my ticket sitting on her desk. There is no telling how long it had been sitting there. I didn't like her attitude. She seemed overwhelmed and unconcerned. Customer service has definitely declined since the pandemic. I was very dissatisfied.
On Thursday was told everything checked out good on vehicle check but when I went to leave I noticed one lug nut was missing. I inquired and they said it stripped so they left it off. They did not have a replacement so we made a 7AM appointment Friday to replace it. Arrived Friday at 7, was told 2 hours to replace lug nut and do coolant flush. Was going to also do transmission fluid and rear end fluid change but was told 4 hours total, so only did coolant and lug nut. After 4 hours vehicle work still not started. I was told it was due to a scheduling conflict. I had them skip coolant flush so I could leave, as I planned for 2 hours total stay. Took 5 hours total to replace lug nut. I won’t be coming back to Hampton for service.
Cost was surprisingly less than I expected and greatly welcomed.

My service provider entered the wrong information for my oil change under the claim that it was my error. My oil change today was marked as my 20.000 oil change when I was only coming in for an oil change at just under 10.000 milles. If I hadn’t been sending all my service papers to my father, the error wouldn’t have been noticed. Unfortunately, we had to go through Toyota to get the problem fixed as there was nothing she could do about it. I wish this was avoided and something offered as compensation of some sorts.

I am being told continuously that the noise coming from my car is normal!!! I have just been told that the brakes were changed but yet I come home to the same sound. I have owned a Highlander previous to this one and did not have this sound. I also have coworkers with the same year model that do NOT hear this sound. I am not satisfied and will not be until it is fixed. I am very disappointed. Not with Phillip but with Toyota service. I have own a Toyota for almost 20 years and have never been upset as I am now.

Phillip is the most exceptional service advisor I’ve ever had . He always keeps me updated and fits me in with my crazy schedule . Always gives me all of my maintenance suggestions so I know what I am looking at for the future as far as maintenance on my car!! 10/10 for sure!! I love my Toyota so much and am so glad I have someone I trust with my car to take care of it!!
