I come to the dealership because I want a professional to work on my car. Normally, I would expect the team to do a diagnosis (with a diagnosis cost estimate), let me know what the problem is and the cost to fix it and then let me agree to the cost before proceeding with the work. The way my most recent service went, it appears that people just continued to do a bunch of stuff not actually diagnosing the problem. As far as I was informed, this was a warranty claim the whole time and I was only going to be required to pay my $100 deductible. Throughout the 17 days that Airpark had my vehicle, I would get daily updates about the fact that there was no progress being made and they couldn’t figure out what was causing the issue, but that they would keep working on it. All the while, no mention of any additional costs whatsoever. During the 17 days that Airpark had my Jeep, I was asked to come pick up the Jeep 3 times, informed that the issue had been resolved and the vehicle was ready. However, upon arriving at the dealership each of these 3 times, the Jeep was still exhibiting the same problem. This cost gas money and time out of my work day each and every time. I was provided a rental car as part of my warranty claim After the 3rd time I came to pick up the vehicle and the issue was persisting, I was informed that the Airpark team would open a new warranty claim to ensure I could keep the rental car without any issue and not have to pay for it. This was Tuesday the 25th. On Thursday the 27th, I was informed that they needed more time and not to worry about the rental and to just keep it until next week (actually this week) when the Airpark team would hopefully figure out the issue. It was not until Tuesday August 1st, that I was informed of the diagnosis and the fact that the work was already performed to fix the issue. At this time, I was also informed that since it turned out to be mud, it was not a warranty issue and I would need to pay for some of the rental and the hours spent by the technicians because “they have to get paid." I completely understand the scenario, but Airpark runs a business and they made a mistake this time. I should not be paying for that mistake and certainly shouldn’t have my consumer protection rights taken away from me. I should never have been charged for things I did not validate or give approval for.

Richard, continues to offer five star service! He listens to my needs and has great communication to ensure that my needs are taken care of and my vehicle service is reviewed. One suggestion for the Technicians that did the service on my car. As I drove away, my windshield wiper was frayed, and somehow this was overlooked. I immediately drove to the auto parts store to have repaired, but feel like this was an area that should’ve been reviewed during my service. Again, Richards, professionalism and attention to detail is highly respected.

Like I always Airpark Dodge does a great job. Kyle is a fabulous service advisor and my jeep patriot continues to run well I will see you in approximately 5000 miles. :)
