I had requested a loaner car before coming to the service center but Randy told me over the phone that that was not possible because the service would be only 45 to 75 minutes. Then, when I arrived, his story changed. He told me that the service would be 2 hours tops. In fact it was somewhat over two hours. I had to wait much longer than originally promised. When I arrived, I explained to Randy that that was my first time at the Lexus service center. He didn’t do a very good job explaining the process (i.e. that the car would be inspected, and he did not explain where I would be waiting during the service until I asked him.) I asked him if he would come and get me in the waiting area when the technician was done with the service. He didn’t come when the service check was done. I finally gave up waiting and went to the reception area where I happened to bump into him as he was coming into it. He was hurried, dismissive and said that “she” (the receptionist) would have the paperwork. He did not apologize for my long wait. Also, did not review the inspection records with me. Finally, the receptionist escorted me to my car which was parked in such a tight corner that I had to go through contortions to squeeze in through the door. Overall, this service visit was a disappointment.
