I was kept informed about my car. I was told it would take half a day and it only toke 3 hours. My car was retiured to me at my house.
You know Carlos is the only service advisor that showed any interest on my issues so, from that day on he is the only one that I’ll go to. If it wasn’t for Carlos taking me seriously I was ready to return my vehicle.
My advisor, Carlos Ibarra, was great - professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. My "negative" feedback has to do with Ford's communication system. I received an automated text message from Ford indicating I had an open recall on my vehicle and was advised to have it serviced in order to deal with the recall. The text message provided me a link to make the appointment, which I used to schedule the repair. When I arrived for my appointment, Carlos informed me that my vehicle was not currently eligible for the recall repair and that I must have received an auto-generated text that went out to all Ford Mache owners.
Fortunately, I do not live far from the dealership but had I needed to drive a long distance, I would have been extremely annoyed at the situation - particularly since Ford is the one that reached out to me!
So, to summarize - Thumbs up for Carlos, Thumbs down for Ford's communication system.

Joel and Alex in used sales were fantastic with this situation. I had just purchased the car 2 weeks prior so this was unexpected and frustrating to have to bring it back in so soon but they met me with grace and generosity and the car is good as new. Glen was totally fine and patient explaining everything. My issue is that we are encouraged to make an appointment, but it is clear upon arrival it does not mean anything. I had questions about quoting work to make sure parts would be there so I wouldn't have to return. Also, it would have been nice to know that the work I needed done is not performed on the weekend and it would be multi-day. I would have liked to have made these arrangements leading up to the day I showed up. I'm working against a deadline to get the work done and things became more complicated than I expected. Especially, when I was hoping to get everything taken care of on Saturday. Since the work is going to take so long, I am considering going to another place that specializes in it so I don't lose as many work days.
Janey always provides great customer service and support as to when calling to schedule an appointment, answering any all questions that I may have including my brother and sister.
She is a great asset and is willing to help us.
I bought five cars in the last 10 years from Villa Ford. And I’ve always remain loyal to my service advisor Domingo. I currently live in Long Beach and yet I travel to Villa Ford on every schedule maintenance on both my vehicles. Domingo has always been an incredible service advisor and I would have no one else service my vehicles that’s why I travel so far when I have a Ford dealership less than a mile away. Thank you, Domingo. Thank you Villa Ford. ;-)
