I will say and appreciate your service advisors communication and commitment to customer service. Rick went above and beyond when your service technician was "unable" to communicate with the vehicle Rick made every attempt and effort to correct the supposed problem. Although it was shown using the OEM software from Ford there was absolutely no communication concerns. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of efforts made by the technician and believe he may also be at a loss in knowledge of the Ford IDS and FDRS operating systems. Your technician was quick to blame everything except his abilities to properly diagnose and resolve any concerns. Including requesting additional unnecessary diagnostic labor time for a problem that did not exist. The ethics of your technician are very questionable at best. I would recommend you invest in more training for your technicians as I hope they do not take advantage of other customers who may not be as knowledgeable.
