Everything was ok with the dealership however, the lift gate struts need to be replaced to open the trunk. Cost is almost 2k and not covered under warranty. Such a basic function of a car should not break and if it does it should be covered. This is my wife’s car, I currently drive a gs350 and previously an is250. I’m starting to think about a new vehicle and my wife will be looking in another year or two. Spending 2k to open a trunk would drop the Lexus line up from our choices. I called corporate, hopefully they will help me out. If not, it is what it is is. I apologize for the rant but I do believe spending nearly two grand to put some junk in my trunk is bananas lol.
