Jose needed my request repeated 3 times and than he never addressed that concern until I brought it up to him! His response was that I had brought that concern up at the last service so it was already addressed. Than he gave me a half way convoluted answer. I would never use him as a service advisor ever again!

I was surprised to see a 3% credit card surcharge added to my service bill. While I understand businesses face processing fees, passing that cost directly to the customer feels unreasonable—especially at a luxury dealership. This isn’t about purchasing power or affordability; it’s about principle. I use my credit card for the convenience, security, and rewards, including cash back. Adding a surcharge essentially cancels out those benefits.
Unfortunately, this may push me to explore other dealerships or certified Lexus mechanics who don’t penalize customers for using a standard payment method.

I got an inspection with Lexus to figure out what the issue was with my vehicle. The inspection came back with all the issues then we agreed to fix the car. Payed $4.2K to get the car fix. After getting my car fix I pick up my car, the same day I picked up my car. 15 mins into my normal commute to work. My check engine light turns back on. I bring the car back to Lexus and now there’s a brand new issue with the car. So it went from fixing a misfire to now having to fix my cats. So after spending $4200. I now have to pay $5500 to get the new issue fix the same day I picked up my car. My issue is that if the cats were an issue in the first place. Then the technician should have caught the issue when it was getting inspected. There is no way, that less than 20 miles of driving the car a brand new issue comes up.
