I’m used to getting a Welcome text from my service advisor within minutes of dropping off my vehicle. I never received a text message until I called the service department for a status update almost two hours after dropping off the vehicle. Then...it was another 40 minutes before I got an update. What I finally received was supposed to be the inspection report with recommendations. It was blank. I went in expecting to spend less than $100 for an oil change, then was quoted upwards of $300. I accepted the proposed work and then received notification that an additional $330 was being suggested. As a teacher entering summer (a time when I am not paid), this is an unreasonable expense for a 5-year old vehicle that I’ve had for only 1-1/2 years. This is not about the service advisor, but rather what might possibly be overpricing. I want to continue to bring my vehicle to the dealer for its service, but I feel that every time I come in there are recommendations for very expensive work. It seems that there may be unnecessary recommendations OR the vehicles manufacturing needs a major overhaul to limit the early problems with the vehicle.

When a customer make makes an appointment they are not told that that is just to check them in and not the start of their appointment time. I sat there for half an hour before my car is actually worked on. To me there should be better communication on behalf of Honda and I will more than likely not be going back to that location

The part necessary to service my vehicle had not been ordered, so instead of being a one day service (as scheduled and confirmed) it became a two day service. Which I only learned once I arrived. So I had to make last minute arrangements to be able to return the following day.
