Coming for maintenance B 17 for CRV. I even got transmission fluid based on the rep recommendation which wasn’t on the code of the maintenance on the vehicle.
After couple hours, the rep, Omar called for brake pads recommendation which will cause extra $500 on top of $487 total first arrangement .
FYI , I understand that brake pads need usually has blinking light on ABS brake followed by squeaking sound or other signs that very pronounced / clear.
As Omar had mentioned that he didn’t want to appear being pushy & yet he did by
recommended the things that my car doesn’t need it right now.
My CRV is about 37000 miles. In great condition because I maintain it well.
Why do I need both transmission fluid & brake pads before the due date mileage for both? FYI I only drove 10000 in one year. It is COVID time so I don’t drive often.
Why do I have to spend extra money $ 600 for something that I don’t really need it right now?

I waited 10 minutes before I had to ask why i was waiting when I had a 12:30 pm appointment. I got there at 12:20pm and they took me in at 12:35, when they were available to take me in once they told me to pull up. I also was told they had until 3:00 to finish and I had to actually go and ask them again why I’m still waiting and it was 20 min after 3pm. I understand they’re tired but shouldn’t have your customers waiting so long when they have appointments.
