I brought in my 2019 MX-5 for a recall, #3019A (faulty control logic in the Transmission Control Module). An hour and 1/2 later, I was informed that no software update was yet available to perform the fix. Why couldn’t Mazda have deconflicted this disconnect beforehand? I will now have to take off work to bring my vehicle back for the repair at an unknown date. When I do, may I at least get a free oil/filter change?
