When I arrived at Toyota to check in my car for the oil change, I waited for 22 minutes for a service writer to be free to help me. I walked up to one desk and the woman said this is not my computer and that she couldn’t help me check in I went to other people and they were all helping someone else, although no one was in front of their desk or they were on the phone. I couldn’t believe how long it took for me to get my car checked in and to be helped. When my car was finished I also had to wait for a service writer to be able to check me out. There were so many people in Toyota getting work done on their cars and not enough service writers to really handle the volume of people in a timely fashion. I really think that you need more service writers scheduled to handle the volume of appointments on your books. A simple oil change shouldn’t take more than an hour and I was there for over an hour and a half, including the wait time.

Several months ago I came n for service. I pointed out that time that a piece of trim on the roof of my truck was gone. The agent at that time said that she would order the replacement piece, which I wanted to be installed during my next service since I live 45 minutes away. When I scheduled my service this month, I pointed out to the agent that I was anticipated the installation of the trim, to which I was told “ok”. When I arrived today, I was told that the trim piece had arrived many weeks ago and since I had not scheduled a visit to have it installed it was returned to Toyota! So now I have to wait months until my next service to have the trim installed. Quite disappointing!
