Covid definitely slows the process down. We had a long wait for pickup and we felt squeezed out by people who came in after us. Perhaps some kind of number system would help.

I received a text just after I dropped off the car. I received an update text at 11. I heard nothing else and went to find Bre at just after 1. She said that she had called to let me know the car was ready. I didn’t get a call - no other text. I sat for 5.5 hours thinking they were trying to figure out the rubbing noise in my car plus doing the regular maintenance. I was told that the rubbing was just a noise that needed some lubricant. When I got in the car and drove it, the sound was still there so I went back. Again, I was told it was just a noise and that I should get tire dressing to lubricate the tire to reduce the noise. My boyfriend called her and challenged the idea that it was just a noise - someone else talked to him (or to her) and told him that it was something to do with the weight used in the tire. In any case, the entire experience infuriated me - I left saying I was finished with Toyota in Bremerton. The only good thing you’ve got going is Keith Smith who is a friend of mine and located the iPad that I accidentally left there in my hurry to get out.

This was my first time in Toyota Service Dept. It was not customer friendly. It would be helpful to have signage educating people on where they are supposed to go to get in line for assistance. I waited for nearest employee to finish with his customer then inquired on where to go. Was told there was a bunch of people in line in front of me but given no directions.

Austin Newell was very professional and helpful. I did suggest that when a customer pulls up into service garage to leave their car, the greeters who take the keys should explain what the process is to “new” clients. I was told to just go in and sit down. Wasn’t sure if I had to “check in” or wait for my name to be called etc... Maybe communication to the customer when they first arrive could be better. Thank you!
