The pick up process was really terrible this time around for me. I was called by my service advisor to start heading down to Longo, as my car would be done in half an hour. I was called a second time as I returned to let me know it was ready. When I arrived at Longo, there was a very long pick up line, too many people for COVID times. When it was finally my turn at the desk, my paperwork had not been sent up yet, so again another wait when I was told twice that my car was ready. Receptionist were friendly, but the length of time was just too much.

Almost got to my appointment late but as luck would have it I got there exactly at 5pm and Daniel was very kind and reviewed the work to be done on my car in a timely manner. He also explained all about the extended warranty plan and the costs. And when my car was finish 50 mins later he called me to pick up my car. I mean that was record time to finish my car plus there were a lot of people waiting. Only bad thing was the cashier department was a little slow but that was to be expected given it was the end of the day and everyone was picking up. Still left in a timely manner so I was happy with the amazing service.

The online payment system was nice. Right up until I had to pick up my car and had to wait in line anyway. It provided no value to me, but I guess it was nice for Longo because you got my money early. Perhaps you will be able to kaizen the process to allow me to a) specify a pickup time, b) have my car ready when I get there. At a minimum it would be nice if I could actually skip the line and go right to the counter to let an attendant know I had paid and was ready to pick up my car. It would also free up staff to handle more customers who do not pay online. Otherwise there is no customer value in paying online.
