Hardin Honda Auto Repair Service Center

Simon was kind, personable, and helpful. He answered all my questions and helped accommodate my request to pick up my car after the service center closed (at the dealership, instead). He has always shown fantastic customer service every time I come to Hardin. The work on my car was done within the estimated time frame, and the courtesy shuttle driver was super- friendly, thoughtful, and respectful. It was overall a great experience.

Great services but no loaner car ( even the car stay over night)

Honestly I’m very upset. I brought my car in for an oil change & tire rotation. I also asked them to fix the lining on my driver side door which was coming off. I ended up getting various routine maintenances totally $500 appx. Once my car was “ready”, and I was about to hop in and leave, I noticed the door hadn’t been fixed. So I told them and waited for it to be fixed. I then left, and by the time I arrived home, I received the warning that my tire pressure was low and to reset the tpms system. So not only had my door not been fixed, but my tires weren’t checked and filled to the correct pressure. I then put air in my tires, and had two tires below 20psi. The warning was still there, so today (Sat), I drove back to have the problem resolved. It was, and I left. As I’m arriving home, I notice a bumpy sound from my tires (it thuds with every rotation of the tires as I drive, super noticeable at low and high speeds). So something else that is wrong with my tires was missed, or caused while being serviced and ignored. When I get out to inspect my tires, I see that I’m missing the cap for every single tire’s pressure valve. Seriously what the heck is going on over at Hardin? Are there literally no quality checks and controls in the service dept? So now I have to drive back, for the third time in a week, to try and get my valve caps that the technician took off and never put back on, and hopefully have my tires inspected for the cause of the bumpy noise (which should have been caught during the tire rotation). All of this, gas, time, & money that I have spent and still have to spend (as I live in Irvine) to have the most basic services rendered is absolutely ridiculous, and I’m truthfully pissed off to the point where I may never trust Hardin with my vehicle again. It has been nothing be a headache, and I don’t even trust that the other services I paid for were even rendered, let alone adequately.

Everyone was very courteous and working hard this morning. The staff member (young man) who was driving cars back to the service area was especially helpful and provided excellent customer service with a great attitude even during a busy, overwhelming morning.

I know I’m always in good hands with darin. He is very nice and listens and makes sure everything is taken care of. Ty!

My tire had a nail and slow leak. Bought all 4 tires at this service location less than a year ago. Asked the service rep if the patch was free since I purchased my tires there. He chuckled and said no. At the cashier, I paid the $24.95 repair fee and asked again (just in case I was right in remembering that flats are repaired for free). The gentleman did not know, but he did the right thing and went to find someone who did know. Came back to tell me that yes, I was right and flats are repaired for free. What I don’t get is how these guys don’t know what is and isn’t covered when people buy tires. That should have been covered in Tires 101. Seems like very basic info.

Darin was awesome. Fully understood the situation and acted accordingly. Earned a loyal customer.
