I not happy with the fact the Honda is not covering the problems with the A/C unit nationwide. My car is not an isolated issue. The condenser, compressor and evaporator are all prone to leaks. The fact they only address the condenser issue and pass the cost of the evaporator on to the consumer is wrong. I used to think Honda vehicles were reliable, but after looking further into this, I find this is a consistent problem. I personally think it is a scam, they (Honda)are recouping the cost of recall of the condenser. Average cost to replace evaporator is $2000

The service department at Hardin Honda is seriously lacking. I left highly disappointed and dissatisfied. Which really shocked me considering their quick service side does a great job. I was provided with an inaccurate timeframe of how long they would need my vehicle when I booked my appointment which I didn’t find out until the service advisor came to speak to me. It went from one day over the phone to an estimate of 2-3 days. The service advisor was not understanding or apologetic and seemed to lack any sort of care. Adrian really needs a class on customer service. I did not get the work done since I cannot leave my vehicle for 2-3 days without proper planning as I work a full time job. To add to my irritation I asked to have my windshield wipers that I had previously paid for installed and he told me he had to call to make sure they were there after I had already told him I received a call previously that they were there. He told me they were having a hard time locating them. In the end, they installed the wipers but I had to ask as I picked up my keys if it was done. This experience has made me question if I will come back to the dealership. Which is really sad as I have taken 3 cars there and have referred others to use your dealership service department. At this point, i’d rather recommend another dealership.

There were two separate problems with this visit and I'm not blaming anyone in particular. First problem: I called the service number several times over the two days my car was in the shop and always got a recording that I had reached a full mailbox if I pressed 2. I eventually did a workaround by calling the main dealer number and having the parts department hunt down a service person. Second problem: I had a 9 AM appointment, but a mechanic didn't start assessing my vehicle until 10 AM the next day. That's a long wait!
