I had stopped by the service department the day before as a walk-in for an oil change & check engine light, but decided to reschedule the following morning as my estimated time of leaving my vehicle was 6+ hours. I showed up for my appointment early & opted to use the shuttle service to kill time at the mall nearby while my car was being serviced. Check engine light ended up being a loose gas cap. Oil change was completed & I received a voicemail from my service rep 4 hours from when I had dropped off my car. I called the shuttle service as instructed & did not get picked up til an hour later, even after calling every 15-30 minutes. At this point I had missed my opportunity to take my mother to the airport whom was visiting for the holidays - I get to see her once a year as I relocated for grad school and needless to say I was extremely frustrated at how long it took for both my car to get serviced & to be picked up upon completion. The driver had said he called my phone (I did not receive any calls nor was a voice mail left) hence the delay. I had used this service department in the past and opted not to return for routine oil changes due to how long a scheduled appointment took in the past. The only reason I came back was due to the check engine light. I spoke with Manager Michael before checking out to express my frustration. I did not ask for my service to be comped but he offered to anyways. I really did appreciate Mr. Jiminez taking the initiative. Thank you for allowing for this feedback & I hope there can be improvements made on picking up customers in a timely manner and also providing a realistic timeframe on when a vehicle would be ready for pick up. Thanks.
