It totally was unclear where to pull the car up to (there’s 2 sides Hyundai and Genesis) but the Genesis side looked like it was only one way so a bit confusing of a check in process. I think maybe a sign would be helpful. I was surprised to only find 1 service advisor working. I had to walk around the building to find him (not his fault, it was clear that he was busy helping people). Later on I noticed multiple customers having to wait. He was working hard and trying to make sure every customer felt seen and I appreciate that. Genesis moved my appointment from 8:30 am to 10:30 am a few days before the service and I’m lucky I had childcare that day to accommodate the sudden change. The service center was freezing cold I believe the thermostat read 59F while I was in the lobby. I think this location had recently opened because it seemed like everything was brand new and still trying to work out all the kinks. For example there werent any cups set out for the fancy coffee machine. Little things like that make a big difference. Overall everything felt very new and sterile. It wasn’t a super welcoming vibe however I can understand that since this location had just recently opened. I used to frequent the Hyundai/Genesis on Stevens creek (owned by DGDG?) and felt like their process was very streamlined.
