The frustration of a dead battery on a car with 16,000 miles, less than 2 years old, is frustrating. Compound that with lack of communication. After placing keys in drop box Sunday night, I left a voice mail in a generic voicemail box. Monday morning I attempted to call to assure that my keys were received and Lexus would be getting back with me on the issue. Numerous calls, voicemails, no response. All I asked was a notification we received your keys and will notify of findings. I finally received a routine check in text at 1012. At 1023 I called again and stated I wanted to talk to a real person. Finally at 1034 I received a call about my car. At 1:44 I received a text that there would be a battery in AM. Also multiple blank ‘form’ texts. No calls. Finally at 3:07 I called to get an update. Was told no cars available.
This was the 7th Lexus for our family of 2. A Lexus is a high end car.
My first concern is lack of response - call customers, answer questions.
Second- Lexus is a high end car. If a car fails due to a warranty issue, the customer should not have to beg for a loaner when the car will not be available within 24hours of drop off.
Third - this apparently is a known issue with the car. Consumers should be notified by Lexus that this is an issue on the Lexus Rx350h and what they should do if it occurs. Also alert consumers if the need to drive a distance monthly to prevent this issue.

My vehicle is still having the same problem. It was having before I took it into the service department. And I was given a vague explanation of why the vehicle was malfunctioning. But Kimberley’s service was impeccable. I’m a little upset that I pretty much just wasted 200 dollars.

My customer service experience with Kimberly Gapsky was very good. However, my experience with the dealership communication system was a 1 out of 10 - extremely poor. The main answering service person sent me to someone other than the service department on my first call to determine my Rx450h status. She tried to forward the call to service and that disconnected. For the next 15 minutes no one would answer the phone call at the Akron Canton Lexus Dealership. I had to drive to the dealership to get the status of my service. I verified that I was using the correct telephone number. Service was delayed until the next day causing me to reschedule installation of new tires by Goodyear. An eight day inconvenience. No manager at the dealership to even communicate the frustration. So, a day late on completion of service, erratic technical issues with the telephone system and being forced to cancel installation of new tires caused the poor rating.

The service department was very busy however the process took the time that was estimated. The lounge area was warm and comfortable.
They cleaned the salt of my car beautifully. I was greeted as I pulled in the garage, opened the door for me, went through the process and directed me to the counter where the employee reviews the status of the service of your vehicle with you. It is behind a glass wall which keeps the noise from the garage out. (Good design) While waiting I walked to another service location where I explained a couple of tech questions about my vehicle I didn’t understand. He too was gracious and went to my car with me to demonstrate when my service was complete. Great service and I love my 350 RX. Thank you
