Kristin was great. The young man who was told the car was there by the tow truck driver, not very responsible. He was also given the keys by the tow driver. Kristin knows what happened.

During my regular service on July 1, I was advised that my car need a coolant diagnostic done for possible water pump problem. They told me they did not have time to do the diagnostic on July 1. I was told the diagnostic and pump replacement would be done on the next visit. I was also told the diagnostic price would go towards the repair cost. I scheduled diagnostic and repair for July 7. On July 7 I check in at 9:12am. At 10:28am I was told diagnostic was done and the water pump was bad. I was told that they did not have the water pump so I would need to schedule a third visit. I was charged $243.50. I mentioned the promise that the diagnostic would apply to the repair cost. It was noted on my receipt that 1/2 of the $243.50 would apply to the repair cost. I scheduled repairs for July 9. On July 9, I checked in at 8:30am and was told repairs would take 4 to 5 hours. At 1:30pm I called to check status on my vehicle. I was told that my repairs had not been started because another vehicle was moved in front of mine. I was told my vehicle was next and would be completed by 5pm. Within 1 hour, I was told that the wrong water pump was ordered for my car and they needed to keep my vehicle overnight. I received a call at around 11am, July 10, informing me that the repairs had finally been completed. At checkout I was not credited 1/2 the diagnostic cost as promised. I was instead given a $150 discount for inconvenience. I also had a 10% off service coupon that was not accepted. I was told they could not honour the diagnostic discount ($121.75) nor the 10% coupon due to the $150 inconvenience discount. Also at checkout my credit card was charged twice for the repairs ($694.56 charged twice). I was told to return Monday July 13 to receive a refund for the duplicate charge. Monday will be my fifth visit to Hatch Toyota for the replacement of a water pump. My total cost for replacing a water pump and tensioner assembly $938.06.

The driver display was set to tire pressure check. Had to look up how to reset to my settings. Would be nice if they would reset back if possible.
