A lack of personal contact with the service technician made it difficult to understand the urgency or necessity of the repairs that were needed.
For this reason, I opted not to proceed with some of the recommended services.
At my Lexus dealer in NJ, the service advisor will always meet with me in person, or by phone once they get information from the technician.

I’m came in for an oil change and tire rotation . My tires are two years old . I was told I cannot have my tires rotated that I need to buy new tires for $1500. I told him I just had my tires rotated six months ago by Costco and was told the tires were in perfect condition. I also informed him that Costco said if I do need to replace my tires, it would cost $869 for top-of-the-line Michelin. So now I’m going to Costco to get my tires rotated by them. I do not believe I will be returning to Lexus for service and when I am going to buy a new car next year, I don’t believe it will be with you.
