I spent 4hrs getting an unneeded software update prioritized over my urgent problem of a malfunctioning lift gate that was left undiagnosed and not fixed. It is opening unattended and doing damage to itself and the surroundings. I cannot have the automatic tailgate feature on without it opening randomly. That was the reason I brought it in, not the software update. There was no diagnosis despite obvious damage. Taking it to another dealer for a proper diagnosis.

I won't be purchasing any more toyota product in the future. I wanted to stop paying for remote services. Try to cancel by deactvating vehicle from connected services and then couldn't use my key fod to start my truck. Called brand engagementand was told had to pay to get remote start back even with my key fob.I'm willing to let the community know this is how loyal customers are treated. Way to go toyota!
