I had a flat tire and had to use thre repair kit and even i asked how to replace it (thinking all i had to do was to buy the replacement filler bottle) i was told i had to buy the whole kit for over $100. Now, why would i replace the kit when i can buy a whole new tire for less?? Who thought of that idea?

Normally I see Mike Montgomery about servicing my Prius and trust him implicitly but since he is out till Oct. 1st, I saw Brendan Seidner with my problem. He was very polite and friendly along with being efficient about setting up a diagnostic service concerning my "check engine" light but in this case, I definitely missed Mike's long length of experience. I know that he would have caught the fact that my gas cap was probably not on tightly enough since this happened once before and he promptly screwed it on to alleviate the problem. In my consternation about the light being on, I had forgotten about this but after I paid $98 for a 5 hour diagnostic session, I realized that it was most likely due to this issue and I feel totally ripped off for having spent this money for nothing when all was that was needed was a tighter seal on the gas cap which I was very careful about when filling up today. I sure do miss Mike and won't have my next servicing done until he comes back to Glendora Toyota since he is almost like family and I value his expertise greatly.
