I had a 10:30 appt…I was told it would take about 1 1/2 hr, so I asked Mike about the shuttle to go home. I was never called for the shuttle..at 1 pm he tells me other services needed and it would take an additional hour. I didn’t believe the “hour” timeframe this time. So I decided to take an Uber home. I was very tired, I was feeling sick from lack of sleep and very annoyed with the waiting. Went home and fell asleep. I got a call around 3 pm to pick up vehicle. I was given my car keys and still had to wait a while because I was blocked in….. I flagged another employee to please move the car blocking me… he went to find Mike, at which time Mike was coming..but just to see the vehicle information. Finally some other worker came out and moved the car. I don’t understand what took so long if I had an appt…it was worse than waiting at a drs office.

Joe does not have the professionalism that Gene carries. He’s either lacking time management or better training. Waited too long and he blamed the system. Knowing I was waiting, never called me in the waiting room. Department seemed overbooked.

After dropping off my vehicle around 4:30 on Monday I told the young lady I was leaving it late in the afternoon so the vehicle would be there upon opening the next morning to be evaluated. She said she would keep me updated on the progress. Past experience led me to believe that I would be contacted and updated around mid morning as to what the mechanic found. Hearing nothing by 11:30 I called to get an update. My assigned service rep (Angela) was out to lunch. Around 1:30 after having been given no updates I drove to Fox to find out what was going on. Of course Angela was not available, so I finally cornered a service advisor for help. I could see my truck was parked outside which means nothing had been done. He said he would locate Angela to get status report. She was incognito. I left and returned an hour later and spoke to service manager. Still no Angela. Car still parked in lot. I left and got a notification that car was evaluated but they could not duplicate my issue. I picked up car next day. Will see who’s it goes.
Toyota service used to be the best. The past 3 years it has deteriorated, continuous personnel change, inconsistent customer service. The employees are friendly but not efficient
