Customer service was excellent, and the timing for the job was appropriate. The only observation is that Toyota does not offer a discount to military personnel or veterans, unlike most other dealerships in the El Paso area. Please keep in mind that El Paso is a military city, and both military personnel and veterans would appreciate such recognition.

*copy of a previous email I sent* Good evening, I’m the owner of the 2016 Tacoma currently being worked on at Fox Auto Team, and I’m also the one who left the 1-star review that was replied to earlier. Just to be clear, I’m not trying to scam anyone or get over on your dealership. This is just coming from someone who honestly feels like something isn’t adding up. I brought my truck in for what I understood was a simple fuse replacement (A140 or 140), and the first estimate came out to almost $1,000, including the $185 diagnostic. It was later brought down to $791, which I understand is what I’m being charged now. At this point, I’d really appreciate a clear breakdown of what was actually done: - What exact part was replaced? - What work was performed? - How did the labor add up to that total? From my understanding, that fuse shouldn’t cost anywhere near $100. Even at $180/hour (which already seems pretty high for El Paso), the total still feels way off for the type of work done. I’m not a mechanic, so I’m open to the idea that I could be missing something, or maybe it just wasn’t explained well. But as it stands, it honestly feels like I’m being overcharged. For context, I’ve done this repair myself before. The part cost me under $20, and it took about 2 hours. The only reason I came to the dealership this time was to have the system properly reset and clear the dashboard lights with the right equipment. I do understand that part required a professional, but the overall price still doesn’t match what I expected for the job. I’d appreciate a straightforward explanation. The drop off experience is very frustrating. I had a bad experience dropping off my car a few months ago but did not report it because I thought maybe it was a fluke. Wrong! This time it took over 30 minutes to check in. It would have taken longer but I got out of my car and called a nearby service employee who started to check in someone in the lane next to me who had just pulled in. The person I called out to turned out to be our service representative, Manuel Hernandez. He came over to me and as I expressed my frustration with the whole situation, his response was “Don’t take it out on me. Go complain to the manager Fernando.” There seems to be no system or order to how the cars are checked in. As I sat in my car waiting my turn, at least 6 or 7 cars who arrived after me, were checked in. The line I was in never moved. Nor was I given an explanation or at least an acknowledgement that my wait time was way too long. This whole experience has me hesitant about returning to this dealership for service. At the very least I would ask that Manuel be removed as our service representative. Please do not have Manuel call me to follow up. Thank you.

I bought new tires yesterday; today a multi-point inspection is made of my car at the Fox dealership, and the service writer comes back with it and tells me my wheels need an alignment. New tires and I need an alignment? My car steers perfectly straight especially after new balanced tires! Is this incompetence or thievery? I’ll wait for your response before contacting Brand Engagement Center (Toyota Corporate).

Took the truck and left it there all day. Nothing was done to it still has the same sensor problem in the front bumper. try to get to Jose won’t answer my call spoke with the lady at the front service. She went and spoke with him told me to bring it back.

When I arrived I was not greeted for awhile and it was 15 minutes past my appointment time. When someone greeted me I still had to wait longer for Gabriel to check me in. During the service I was not updated at all of how much longer my car would take. I left the dealership and it was getting later in the day and I had called for an update on my car and Gabriel didn’t answer and the front desk would call me back 2 hours past and I still have not heard from anyone. When I called back I was informed that my car was ready. The service I received was not what I expected on my first time bring in my car.

Set appointment for 4/6 at 10am for 20k service on my 2023 GR Corolla. Picked the car up and it was leaking from the front diff. Brought car back before service dept closed. Picked it up today 4/7 and it leaked again within 30 minutes, took it back and tried to diagnose leak, turned out crush washers for drain plug and fill plug were reused. They replaced them, took on test drive with mechanic and it continued to leak. He confirmed he torqued it to 14ft/lbs and in the service manual it states 29 ft/lbs. he torqued it to 29, went on another test drive and diff appeared dry. Got home, diff is still leaking...service dept closed already, will be calling in morning and hopefully this can be fixed. Was supposed to take vehicle on road for work trip, have now had to push my departure 2 times due to this ordeal. I paid to have service done at the dealership for warranty purposes and so it could be done right. And I am still waiting for this to be remedied.
