Very unprofessional. Doesn’t look like he took the time to complete the intake accurately. Mistakes filling in out. Not given any reason our claim was denied. Just told us our warranty was terrible and that the company never approved any claims. Also told us we should have talked to the service department before buying the warranty. We bought it with our car at the Jim Shorkey dealership down the street.

I brought my car in for routine maintenance. In the notes I mentioned noise from my brakes which was addressed but not fixed the last time I came in. Upon check in, this visit, nothing was mentioned about it. After an hour and a half, I was notified my car inspection video and notes were updated. All that was being done was a coolant flush and oil change. The notes said that the cabin air filter had evidence of rodent damage, which a picture of the filter. Also, the notes said I needed the cabin air system cleaned with another picture of the filter only. I approached David, my advisor about the issue and asked, what other evidence is there? Is there rodent feces or anything in the air system? He told me he’ll go ask the mechanic. Once he comes back, he tells me the mechanic has no way of seeing right now. I declined the cabin air filter and system service and said I’ll handle it myself. David tells me ok and he’ll have the car all finished up shortly. I asked if he had an idea of how rodents could get into the system and he said he doesn’t know. Another hour and 15 minutes pass before my car is brought around. I approach David at his desk and with no enthusiasm nor sense of urgency he rings me up and I go on my way. During my entire visit, David did not seem to want to be working and did things at his own pace. Highly disappointing from a customer care point of view. After purchasing an air filter myself, I went home to install it. Once I popped the cabin air filter cover off, I saw my old filter jammed in upside down squished up against a cotton-material or a nest from a rodent. There was no mention of a nest right in the filter assembly and to just jam my old filter against that is disgusting. At least have the courtesy and taking 2 seconds with a shop vac (like I did) and **** up that garbage before reinstalling the air filter! Upon further inspection under the hood, I saw the insulation material that this rodent used and was chewed up from the area near my wheels, with of course, rodent feces. The lack of empathy, courtesy and quite frankly, thorough work that was done with my RAV4 is exactly why I will not be coming back to your location for servicing.
