I did notice that I still have the old radiator cap on although I paid for a new one.
Maybe I am expecting too much, but I thought at least the engine bay would be hosed off after work was completed on the radiator and water pump.

It’s a small detail that probably shouldn’t be a big deal, but it made a difference to me.
Many of the representatives walked up to their customers to tell them they were done or to ask questions. They knew who their customer was. If I remember correctly, this has also been my experience in the past. This time, and like I said, it is minor, TJ called my last name out through the lobby and didn’t really even look to make sure I had heard or was coming. It was just impersonal, and I felt rushed, like I had to gather my things as quickly as possible so that I could meet him at the desk. It is a small thing, but it makes a big difference when you feel known and seen. That is the type of service I see and expect from my local dealership, but Tuscaloosa Toyota is different - which is why I drive an hour to have my car serviced there.

I had an appointment at 7:00 to get my oil changed. It took almost two hours for just that. What is the point in having an appointment if it is still going to take hours to do a simple oil change???

I had a dead battery today and was planning to leave to go to Bham for an important meeting. After AAA was able to get my car started, I went immediately to Toyota and Mr. Sansing was able to have the new battery installed quickly, thereby allowing me to get to Bham as planned.

David was very nice. But every time I get my car serviced hoses are left disconnected. I have to raise the hood and connect hose to air box every time before I leave the dealer. This has happened 3 consecutive times. I’ve shown it to Dustin and at this service David and I checked it and like every other time hose not connected. The first time I drove to Chicago and back. Didn’t no a hose was disconnected until I did an oil check. I’m trying to be patient while these quality issues are corrected but if I need to move my buisness to Birmingham I will. I can’t even get a tire rotation there because every time there is wheel damage. I’m almost ready to give up on this dealership. I spend good money there. I shouldn’t have to check the car before I leave.
