Losing my trust in this service department. Truck appointment on the 6th, no mention of brake pad issue. Return truck on Saturday, December 13 for a separate issue, and suddenly I’m told I have a brake pad issue. Do I really need the front brake pads OR are the suggestions at an appointment a way to “money-grab?” I used to trust that what I was being suggested was legit. Losing my trust.
Bigger issue has been trying to get my tire pressure sensor fixed. Truck light flashes yellow and becomes solid non-stop signaling a tire pressure issue (even though tires are fine). December 6, I paid $155 for a diagnostic of the computer system. Left the site with light off. First stop that truck gets cut off, light comes back on when I crank up. December 13, pay another sum of money for a sensor change (front left tire). Leave property with light off. Make turn onto road at the house and yellow tire pressure light comes on again. In 2 weekends, I’ve thrown over $1000 into my truck. Light is still not fixed and my trust in this service department has greatly been compromised.

I made an appointment online and it said my service rep would be Joshua Huffman. because at my last oil change it said on the results receipt that I had a leaking CV axle. I drove for the scheduled appointment. Another service rep helped but told me he would have to get with J Huffman when he got back from his lunch break. He took my # and said they would call me. I left the Toyota dealership but was never called back. I called a second time and was told again JHuffman was not there but he would call me back…still waiting for that call. They were supposed to help me find out if my extended warranty would cover the service.
