I dropped off my car for service, and the advisor assisting me never called to update me on its status. I had to call myself at the end of the day just to find out what was happening and whether I would be without my car all day.
This is my only vehicle, so I stayed home all day and had to put all of my errands on hold, expecting to hear from someone. Instead, I had to call the dealership, only to be told that my car would need to stay another day.
The next day, the same thing happened. I never received a call with an update, so once again I had to call myself. I was then told that my car was being worked on and that I could come pick up a rental car.
My question is: Why didn’t anyone call me to let me know a rental car was available? I spent another day at home without transportation and was unable to take care of my responsibilities because no one took the time to keep me informed.
I’m very disappointed with the lack of communication and customer service. Keeping customers updated should be a basic part of the service experience. I should not have had to repeatedly call just to find out what was happening with my car. This experience has been frustrating, and I am not satisfied with the level of service I received.
