Service was great, but disappointed by 2 things. 1. 3% surcharge on credit card transaction seems a little much after paying over $500 for a basic service. 2. Didn't get a courtesy car wash, again after paying over $500 for a basic service. The people and service are great, but it's certainly not the same overall great experience it was previously.

Saul Mejia I would like to know if I needed tires badly why did they do a tire rotation I was charged $30. In my opinion the mechanic should have checked with me before I wasted $30. I tried to call and talk to you twice but for you reality wouldn't put me through. Sheryl

I had a very disappointing experience with Cardinaleway Hyundai regarding a paint recall on my vehicle. After being on a waitlist for several months, I was contacted and told to bring my vehicle in for the recall. My car does not run, so I paid out of pocket to have it towed to the dealership based on their instruction. After inspecting the vehicle, I was informed that no paint work would be completed. However, I later received written confirmation that several panels (including the hood and roof) were actually eligible under Hyundai’s recall guidelines. The real reason the repair was not completed was because the dealership’s body shop declined the work due to low profitability not because the vehicle was fully ineligible. This was extremely frustrating, as I incurred towing costs and waited months, only to be turned away for reasons unrelated to the actual recall eligibility. I would recommend getting clear written confirmation of what will be done before bringing your vehicle in.

My dissatisfaction was not related to the mechanical service portion, just a few things a wish were better. Please do not notated this in any way to my account, I prefer to be anonymous. 1.) When I pulled up to the service desk, I don't expect someone to run out to greet me, but I was in view of the two front desk employees, and when I walked in no one acknowledged me, they continued to chit chat with what seemed to be a CarFax sales rep. Not a huge deal but just a little odd, I'm used to coming on the weekends, they're usually very hassle and bussle to get the service paperwork started. 2.) I arrived around 2pm, my appt was for an oil change but I asked if there's any way to just take a couple minutes to look at the wiring under the gear shift. My screen disconnects when I am trying to back up from a spot, preventing me from using my backup camera. I assume it is a loose wire or something caused by the changing gears. However before I identified the coordination I've brought it in to a dealership on a weekend and they've told me they cannot work on it A.) On weekends and B.) If it's not IN the error state. But now that I likely know the cause, and it was a weekday appointment I had hoped they could take a quick look at it at least. They said no, I would need to bring it back in. This is my only car and I do not have the luxury of taking time off on weekdays.i happened to ha e the day off that day, which is why I made the appointment. 3.) I was not offered a complimentary car wash. The service employee who completed my paperwork was aware I was not in a hurry, I told him I had the rest of the day off and would be waiting either at the dealership or may take a stroll down to the shopping center. I really enjoy that perk as a hyundai owner, but was disappointed to see it was not provided or even offered. 4.) No mileage return sticker was on my windshield. Not a big deal, I know my vehicle will alert me. Overall nothing major.
