I paid $285 for diagnostic service. However, the paperwork I received only states that the vehicle felt jerky when shifting from EV to fuel mode and recommends replacing the transmission assembly and rechecking. The estimate lists transmission assembly replacement, but I did not receive a full diagnostic report supporting this recommendation.
Please send me the complete Hyundai GDS diagnostic report, including:
all DTC codes found;
module names for each code;
current / active / pending / history / permanent status;
freeze-frame data, if available;
technician diagnostic notes;
confirmation which hybrid modules were scanned, including HCU, TCU, BMS, inverter, DC-DC converter, engine ECU, and related modules;
confirmation whether recalls, service campaigns, and HCU/TCU software updates were checked;
written explanation why the entire transmission assembly must be replaced, and why other possible causes were ruled out.
I paid for a diagnostic, not just an estimate. If Hyundai of San Bruno cannot provide the complete diagnostic documentation supporting the transmission replacement recommendation, I am requesting a refund of the diagnostic fee.

Techs tried 2 times to do the recall. Didn't work. Very disappointed that I waited 4 hours for a failure by your company. Marlon kept me informed of the lack of progress. Set up new appt for wednesday. Wow you think you would be prepared for a major recall.

Blake was pleasant and understanding with my frustration due to the lack of organization and staffing of this location. There is no greeter so it makes a very awkward and confusing entrance. And every time I have visited this location, there has been an issue or super long wait every time. Also, in general, a simple warranty maintenence job should not take all day to complete (mine took more than 6 hours). I could've went to an oil changing place and it would take less than 30 minutes.
